...It was a superb event! I really mean it when I say that Roy's band (well, it was 11-piece orchestra) literally made the evening something special; they were soooooo good. Everyone was dancing, even people who normally didn't get out there and shake it. It was a lot of fun. Amber had initially been thinking of using a DJ, or something smaller than an 11-piece orchestra, but during the reception she came up to me and said, "You know, Dad, how I don't want to ever tell you when you're right, but this time I have to say, you were right about going with Roy's band." She was beaming, and that's all a dad can ask for at his daughter's wedding.
I can’t begin to tell you how grateful we are for the fantastic music you provided at Kate & Joe’s wedding. Everyone is talking about you and your team—and how perfect it was. People did not want to stop dancing! All the extra efforts you provided in announcements, speeches, etc. help make everything go so smooth. I am very appreciative of you taking the time to learn “You’ll Never Know”. It was a truly special moment for Kate & I, we will never forget. You could not have done it any better! I thought you should know that a friend of mine who has lived in Chicago all his life came up to me after Jim and Becky’s wedding and said, “I’ve been to more wedding receptions and Bar Mitzvahs in and around Chicago than I care to remember. That’s the best band I’ve ever heard.” While I don’t have the “Chicago history” behind me, I too have been to more weddings and Bar Mitzvahs than I care to remember and I concur wholeheartedly with my friend’s opinion. Thank you for making Jim and Becky’s wedding such a happy and fun-filled one for all in attendance.
Thank you for making a beautiful evening, an incredibly fun evening. It was amazing to see so many people on the dance floor before dinner was served. And I can’t even begin to tell you how many people came up to us to let us know that they were ready to skip dinner and dance along to your orchestra all night long. Thank you so much for playing music that satisfied everyone. I can’t tell you how many compliments we received, from people of all ages, about how great the music was at our wedding. I don’t think the dance floor was ever empty and I’m pretty sure it never would have besides for the fact that it was 1:00 a.m. and the Mid-America Club had to close for the evening.
